In this little web-show „Callis Bauchentscheidung“ (transl.: Calli’s gut decision), former german football manager Rainer „Calli“ Calmund“ predicted the match winner of each game by eating BBQ dishes typical for the playing countries. Calli is a famous celebrity in germany and infamous for his love for eating. Which also made him a bit corpulent. This was the perfect combination of food and football for EDEKA, a german supermarket brand that is known for its high quality groceries.

There were dozen of episodes during the world cup and all of them were full of humor and lot’s of running gags. It’s impossible to translate them but believe me they are really funny.

Background: During the 2010 World Cup Paul the Octopus was a international phenomenon. He made many accurate predictions which brought him worldwide attention as an oracle. Especially in Germany, the home of Paul, football-oracles became a big thing in his wake.

As a counter-model to the market, the world‘s first  biologically brewed lemonade has been on a unique road to success. To celebrate its 10th anniversary, BIONADE wanted to leave an unforgettable mark. With a totally unconventional gesture of thanks – and product presentation at the same time: Using more than 6,600 BIONADE crates, the company constructed a highly visible word monument directly opposite the popular tourist attraction of the Landungsbrücken in the port of Hamburg. More than 6 m high and over 100 m long. Additonally we labeled 2 million Bottles of BIONADE with special "Thank you Hamburg" labels and spread them all across Hamburg.
